Guided Heartfulness Relaxation
Gently close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths. Be present and aware of your breath as it flows in and out at your own rhythm. (Pause)
Bring your awareness to your feet. (Pause) Feel the natural flow of the earth’s healing energy moving up through your feet to your ankles, calves, and knees. Let them relax. (Pause) Feel the energy passing through your thighs, your hips, and your abdomen, relaxing them. (Pause)
Take a moment to breathe, relax, and let go. (Pause)
Allow the healing energy of the earth to move to your lower back and gently flow upward, relaxing all the muscles in your lower, middle, and upper back. (Pause)
Let your entire back relax completely. (Pause)
Bring your awareness to the front of your body. Allow the healing energy to move gently upward relaxing your entire torso from your lower abdomen, through your stomach to your shoulders.
Take a deep breath and let go! (Pause)
Relax your shoulders. Feel any tightness in your shoulders simply melting away. (Pause)
Feel the healing energy moving from your shoulders down your arms, through your elbows, forearms, wrists, and hands, all the way to your fingertips. (pause)
Bring your awareness to your neck. Relax your neck. (Pause)
Feel the energy deeply relaxing your neck as it moves gently upward and into your face.
Relax your jaw and let it drop. (pause) Relax your mouth and lips, your nose and cheeks, your ears, temples, your eyes, very softly closed. (pause)
Soften your brow and forehead. (pause) Let all your facial muscles relax…all the way to the top of your head. (pause)
Allow and notice how your entire body feels peaceful and calm. (pause)
Your breathing is deep and slow. (pause)
Your mind is clear and open. (pause)
Now…
Gently bring your attention to your heart (pause)
Feel that your heart is illuminated from within (pause)
Deeply feel and radiate the lightness and love in your heart (pause)
